The test conducted to determine the rate of resistance when tablets are compressed is the Friability Tester. It tests the physical strength of a tablet when it progresses from manufacturing to distribution. Friability Tester is an instrument that processes shock and abrasion through uncoated tablets to check if they tend to chip or break. The friability testing method is almost harmonized across all the pharmacopeias viz.
